WATER BOARD REGGE AND DINKEL AND MUNICIPALITY DINKELLAND INVEST STRONGLY IN IMPROVING WATER QUALITY WATER PEARL OOTMARSUM

Clean water is of vital importance. In Ootmarsum water board Regge and Dinkel and the municipality Dinkelland are working together to improve the quality of (urban) water. Water which will eventually arrive in an area which is of high natural value and because of that got the designation ‘water pearl’. For this reason it deserves the best possible water quality. Moreover we must be able to satisfied to the strict European water quality directives for this particular area within a number of years. Only by taking joint measures we’ll be able to realise the quality we want. For this reason the municipality and the water board will invest more than € 10,000,000.-- in several measures the coming years.
